● Stop Shredding Stock Rubber Rollers

● If you are pushing a Honda 110i or 125i Euro-5 engine with a high-lift cam, stiffer valve springs, or higher RPM limits, the factory cam chain tensioner roller is a ticking time bomb. Under heavy loads and high oil temperatures, the soft OEM rubber roller breaks down fast—dumping black rubber debris straight into your oil system and leaving the cam chain to grind directly into the bare metal arm.

Once that roller wears down, you get cam chain slack. A whipping chain throws your cam and ignition timing all over the place at high RPM, robbing you of power, causing erratic running, and risking catastrophic valve-to-piston contact.

● Lighter Than Steel, Tougher Than Cast Alloy

● Cheap cast aluminum tensioner arms are too soft and prone to flexing or snapping at high RPM, which is why our previous 14500-K1M-RBS arm was built entirely from steel.
While steel is bulletproof, extra weight on the tensioner arm slows down how fast the tensioner lifter can react to chain whip.

The new 14500-K1M-RBA solves both problems. We 3D CNC-machine the arm from a solid block of billet aluminum alloy and treat it with a heavy-duty hard-anodized coating.
This creates an ultra-hard outer layer that matches the wear resistance of tool steel at a fraction of the weight—giving you a rock-solid arm that lets your tensioner track the chain effortlessly at peak RPM.

● Hardened Steel Sprocket & True Roller Bearing

● Aluminum sprockets wear out teeth too quickly, so we didn't cut corners on the roller.
The hard-anodized billet arm is fitted with a specially hardened steel gear running on a high-speed steel roller bearing.
You get reduced parasitic drag, zero rubber to disintegrate, and dead-on cam timing from idle to redline.
